The International Council for Canadian Studies is pleased to announce that its next conference will be held in Ottawa on May 22 to 24, 2012, in collaboration with the Universities of Ottawa and Carleton. Proposals for twenty minute papers, to be presented in either English or French, are invited from disciplinary, multidiscipinary, or comparative perspectives on the theme of "Cultural Challanges of Migration in Canada".

The organizers of the 2010 conference welcome proposals from Canadian, Japanese and international academics working in any field of Japan Studies. Proposals for individual papers or full panels are encouraged.
Note that a special PhD Thesis Workshop will be held as part of JSAC 2010 on Thursday Sept 30th. This will be of special interest to grad students and their supervisors.
