On behalf of the Organizing Committee I am pleased to announce that JSAC 2010 will be held at the campus of the University of British Columbia in the fall.
Dates: Sept 30th – Oct 3rd , 2010
Thurs, Sept 30 (Ph. D. Thesis Workshop; Conference Ice Breaker and Keynote Speaker)
Fri, Oct 1 (‘Japan in the Pacific Neighbourhood’ Policy Panel; Papers; Reception)
Sat, Oct 2 (Papers; Banquet)
Sun, Oct 3 (Papers; Field Trip)

The organizers of the 2010 conference welcome proposals from Canadian, Japanese and international academics working in any field of Japan Studies. Proposals for individual papers or full panels are encouraged.
Note that a special PhD Thesis Workshop will be held as part of JSAC 2010 on Thursday Sept 30th. This will be of special interest to grad students and their supervisors.
